Palermo Airport is easily accessible by a range of transport and is easily connected by a scheduled bus and shuttle service not forgetting the fact that it also has good car rental, train and taxi connections. The airport is located outside the city of Palermo, at 30 minutes journey by car.

by Bus

A shuttle bus-service between the city and Palemo Airport is furnished by Autolinea Prestia & Comandè (tel.0039 091580457). From the Airport it stops in the Palermo Centrale railway station (located in Giulio Cesare square, from where we can arrange a service transportation to take you directly to our holiday apartment).
The ticket is available on the bus and costs € 4.65.
From Palermo the service goes from 5.00 to 23.00 every 30 minutes.
From Airport the service goes from 6.30 to 24.00 every 30 minutes. The last course waits for possible flights delays.
Time 50 minutes.

by Train

The airport is connected to Palermo Centrale railways station by the Trinacria Express train service, scheduled to leave the Airport every our, from 5.00 to 22.00, and take 45 minutes for the whole travel.
The one-way ticket from Palermo to Punta Raisi (and viceversa) costs € 4.50 and can be purchased at the Trenitalia ticket offices and in many newspapers and cigarettes shops.
From Palermo Centrale railways station we can arrange a service transportation to take you directly to our holiday apartment.

The airport is located only 5km away from the motorway exit, so getting to Palermo from the airport is fairly simple, just follow the road signs.
To reach our holiday apartment in Palermo by car, see here our maps and follows the itinerary signed into.

Instead if you come from Palermo-Catania or Palermo-Messina motorway, you can follows the itinerary signed in these maps.
Remember that speed limits in Sicily are: 130 km/h on the Motorway, 110km/h on Dual Carriageways, 90km/h on open roads an 50km/h in towns.
